Mr. Bennett is a partner in the law firm of Stanley Wines Bennett Murphy & Helms, P.A. in Winter Haven. Mr. Bennett specializes in estate planning, estate administration, real estate and business law. He received his Bachelor of Arts degree from Florida State University in Tallahassee, where he was elected President of his Senior Class, and his Juris Doctor degree from the University of Florida. He is a past Chairman of the Board of the American Heart Association, Florida/Puerto Rico Affiliate, an active member of the Winter Haven Chamber of Commerce, a graduate of Leadership Winter Haven, and a permanent ex-officio member of the Florida State University Alumni Association Board of Directors. Mr. Bennett's interest in public health led to his being elected as a charter member of the board of directors of Smoke Free For Health, Inc., a political action committee that spearheaded a citizen's petition initiative which resulted in the passage of a Florida Constitutional Amendment eliminating smoking from workplaces, including restaurants. Mr. Bennett has been a Director since 2005. He was born in Winter Haven, and has lived there all his life.
